This Friday 12 October, Kilkenny’s ‘The Hub’ location will host Farmex, an exciting new industry-focussed event that brings the best in technical advice and information to the country’s most progressive and technically-minded farmers. The organisers have turned to ICMSA to chair their ‘Profitable Milk Production Seminar’ which is scheduled to begin at 12.30 and Pat McCormack, President of ICMSA, is happy to confirm that he will attend and chair what promises to be a revealing and valuable discussion for the large number of dairy farmers expected. The line-up is:
Buffer Feeding the Dairy Herd – Cathal Bohane, Keenan -Alltech nutritionist
New Entrant to Dairying – Peter Hynes, Dairygold milk producer
Breeding for Profitable Milk Production – Padraic Greenan, Monaghan
Alternatives to Rented Grazing & Expensive Silage – Brian Reidy, nutritionist
All speakers are allocated 10 minutes with a 20-minute Q and A afterwards, so proceedings will ‘clip along’ under the guidance of the ICMSA President, who will himself contribute to this engaging panel and subject.
See you there.
